All plywood tables - NO particleboard
Maywood's tables are made only with top grade plywood. Under no circumstance will we use particleboard, due to its flaking & easy breakage properties.
All powder coated legs
Maywood uses a powder coating system for all of our legs to increase scratch resistance, decrease weather related erosion, and sustain durability.

Original Series

Maywood Furniture is the home of the "original" folding banquet table
In 1930, Mr. DeSaussure provided the Waldorf Astoria with their first folding banquet table. This table later became to be known as the Howe 200 Series. This "original" product been available direct from Maywood since 2000.

Self-supporting steel chassis
This sturdy base is capable of standing separate from the top, and can hold over 1000 pounds evenly distributed. Furthermore, it is powdered coated for wear and durability.
3/8" thick tops - Rectangle (Plywood)
With aluminum flush edging, this top provides a lightweight table, but is as strong as tables with greater overall weight.
5/8" thick tops - Rectangle (Mayfoam, Laminate); Round (Plywood, Mayfoam, Laminate)

This thickness compares favorably to all key competitors.

Lightweight tops
Maywood combined our 5/8" Lite-ply® with a high pressure laminate top and backer to offer a laminated table with half the weight of most similar looking tables in the marketplace.
